Batemans Bay is situated
between Moruya and Bawley Point on the South Coast of New South
Wales, about 120km south of Nowra and east of Queanbeyan. It is a popular
weekend destination for families from Canberra, which is about
2 hours drive inland (145km). Batemans
Bay is located at the mouth of the Clyde
River. The area is also known as the
Clyde Coast and is situated about 4 hours
drive from Sydney (275km) along on
the Princes Highway.
