Bendigo is a large inland
city, situated in the middle of Victoria,
between Echuca and Ballarat, about 2 hours
drive from Melbourne (150km). The
town was built on the Gold Rush of the
mid 19th Century and is known for its
beautiful buildings, museums and art
galleries.
