Bendigo is a large inland city, situated in the middle of Victoria, between Echuca and Ballarat, about 2 hours drive from Melbourne (150km). The town was built on the Gold Rush of the mid 19th Century and is known for its beautiful buildings, museums and art galleries.

  • Hotel Midland: Historic and unpretentious boutique hotel, providing bed and breakfast accommodaton in central Castlemaine. It is an art deco building, originally built in 1879. The Hotel is a family run business and has been operated by the present owners since 1981. Their aim is to provide a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere in a grand setting.
  • Eyre House is conveniently situated close to the centre of Ballarat and the Cafe and Restaurant precinct and just one kilometre from Ballarat's famous Lake Wendouree.
