A bed and breakfast (also known as a B&B or BnB) is a type of lodging, where guests are accommodated in private bedrooms that are often part of a family home. However, many guesthouses also offer a bed and breakfast service. Generally, B&Bs are cosier than other types of accommodation. They are often established in older houses that have been renovated to invoke the elegant, aristocratic charm associated with a bygone era. However, there are many styles of bed and breakfast, reflecting the diverse lifestyles within and between cultures. Since bed and breakfasts are usually a family business, the service is distinctly personal. Usually, a great deal of pride is put into the breakfast. So, don't be afraid to mention any preferences or special dietary needs.
