Hotels

A hotel is a type of lodging that offers short-term accommodation in the form of a room. A room in a basic hotel includes a bed, cupboard, small table and a washstand. Many hotels also include such features as air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom, a small refrigerator, TV, alarm clock, mini-bar and a kettle for making tea and coffee. Some hotels also have additional facilities such as a restaurant, conference area, swimming pool and childcare. At the top of the range are boutique hotels, which provide an exceptional standard of accommodation with personalised service. Boutique hotels typically offer Internet connections, cable/pay TV and 24 hour room service. Many boutique hotels offer dining facilities, bars and lounges.
